INTRODUCING

ACAC’s New Music Curriculum!

As you make know, ACAC has expanded our school to include music.

We are thrilled to move forward within the performing arts to include lessons and classes teaching most stringed instruments.

We are fortunate to have an accomplished teacher and concert pianist, Laura Akers offering piano lessons on our upright piano. Click or tap the piano image to register for classes for both children and adults on Thursdays from 6-7 PM and from 7-8 PM.

Our Music Curriculum is an extension of the Dripping Springs Music Academy (DSMA), a school run by Tommy Mojica, lovingly known as “Mr. Tommy” to the Dripping Springs community.

Mr. Tommy has been teaching music in Dripping Springs for 15+ years, both in the DSISD and in private schools.

Mr. Tommy will be offering private lessons that include electric guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass guitar and violin.

Whereas Laura Akers will be teaching on our upright piano, Tommy will also be specializing in electronic keyboard.

His lessons include training and involvement in “the performing arts” that concentrate on music spanning decades, from the 50’s to 2025; from the Beatles to Pink Floyd, country to reggae, blues, gospel, folk, bluegrass, the musical list of songs to learn goes on and on!
