PAINTING CAMPS

Learning to work with color enhances life and brightens the world. As young artists become apprentices of the Masters - past and present a great nostalgia intrigues us all. Students are guided to explore the fundamentals of painting - learning about the elements (lines, colors, values, textures, shapes, forms, spaces), how to hold various brushes, mix/blend colors and more. During Summer Camp students paint on giant canvases just like the masters. Skills are taught using acrylic paint and watercolor. Advanced artists are encouraged to express their own styles and dive deeper into color theory. Compositions must be approved by instructors.
